1. How far ahead do I have to book?

All Mystery Flights need to be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. As we do occasionally sell out for certain date/destination combinations the earlier you book the better.
|

2. What airline will I be flying with?
|
|
|
|
You will be flying with Virgin Blue, Jetstar or Qantas Airways.
|
|
|
|
3. What hotel will I be staying at?
|
|
|
|
We have preferred properties for each destination. Our preferred properties include the Holiday Inn, Rydges, Stamford and Rendezvous brands.
|
|
|
|
4. Can I select where I go?
|
|
|
|
Choosing where you go rather defeats the purpose of a Mystery Flight. However, you are able to nominate one destination you do NOT wish to be flown to. This destination is then excluded as a possiblity. Canberra is automatically excluded for Sydney departures. Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ballina/Byron Bay and Fraser Coast are automatically excluded for Brisbane departures.

5. When do I find out where I am going?
|
|
|
|
On receipt of payment a booking confirmation will be forwarded. 2-3 days prior to departure you will receive an email itinerary and Mystery Flight itinerary folder. Your emailed itinerary is all you'll need at this stage, however, if you open your Itinerary Folder your destination will be revealed.

|
|
|
6. What time will my flight leave/return?
|
|
|
|
Flight times on day of departure are between 6am and 12 noon. Returning flights depart between 12 noon and 10pm.
|
|
|
|
7. How long will I have at my destination?
|
|
|
|
We guarantee at least 6 hours at the destination for Mystery Flight Day Trip travellers. For our One, Two and Three Night Mystery Flights we guarantee 24, 48 and 72 hours respectively. These times are the absolute minimum - you often have much longer!

8. Do your overnight package prices include arline baggage fees?
|
|
|
|
Yes, All one, two and three night package prices include airline charges for up to 20kgs of checked baggage. If you have more than 20kgs of luggage you will need to pay the airline directly at check-in.

9. Are baggage fees included in the price of Mystery Flight Day trip packages?
|
|
|
No, If you wish to check in baggage while on your Mystery Flight Day Trip you will have to pay the airline directly at check in. There is no charge for hand held luggage taken on board as long as it is within the airline size limits.
Our overnight packages do include fees for up to 20kgs of checked luggage.

10. How will I get from the airport to my accommodation?
|
|
|
|
Transfers are included as part of our One, Two and Three Mystery Flights. Most Mystery Flight transfers are arranged on a seat-in-coach (SIC) basis. You will find all the necessary details regarding your transfers in your Mystery Flight itinerary folder.

|

11. Can you take children on a Mystery Flight?
|
|
|
|
Yes. There is a nominal charge of $25 for children under 2 years of age travelling with an adult on a One, Two or Three Night Mystery Flight. There is no charge for children under 2 years of age travelling with an adult on a Mystery Flight Day Trip. For children over 2 years of age the prices are the same as for adult travellers.

12. Can I change a booking?
|
|
|
|
Yes, however all changes must be made at least 7 days prior to departure. A minimum charge of $110 (inclusive of GST) is applicable to all changes, plus any additional costs incurred as a result of the changes.

13. What happens if I'm unable to travel on the day of departure?
|
|
|
|
Unfortunately, a 100% cancellation fee applies to all cancellations made less than 7 days prior to departure. We suggest you source appropriate insurance cover.
|
|
|
|
14. What happens if a flight is delayed or cancelled?
|
|
|
|
You will need to liase with the airline directly.
|
|
|
|
15. What time will I be able check in and check out of the hotel?
|
|
|
|
Hotel check in is usually 2pm. Hotel check out time is usually 10am. Contact numbers for your airline, hotel and transfer companies will be provided in your Mystery Flight itinerary folder.

|
16. Do you have a single room surcharge (SRS)?
|
|
|
|
Yes. The prices of our overnight packages are based on twin share accommodation. There is a SRS of $75 per night which is applicable to anyone travelling on their own, or, as part of a group but requiring their own room.

17. Do you charge a surcharge for customers paying by credit card?
|
|
|
|
No, we do not charge a surcharge for any credit card payments.
|
|
|
|
18. How do I pay for my booking if I have two or more gift vouchers?
|
|
|
|
Our online booking system lets you redeem a gift voucher and takes the value of the gift voucher off your payment total. If you wish to redeem two or more vouchers in payment of the one booking you will need to contact us.

|
|
|
19. Can I earn Frequent Flyer points on my Mystery Flight?
|
|
|
|
Simply provide us with your loyalty programme details when booking and if your flights or accommodation are eligible you will be credited.
|
|
|
|
20. Do I need travel insurance?
|
|
|

21. How long are gift vouchers valid for?
|
|
|
|
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
|

22. Do we get a group discount for a large group of people travelling together?
|
|
|
|
Yes, for a group booking of 12 or more people, there is a discount of $20 per person, when booking a two or three night package. There is a $75 surcharge per person per night for any traveller requiring a single room.
